About Joloda

Joloda are a global name in materials handling with over 35 years behind them. They design and manufacture bespoke handling solutions used across industries worldwide - proper engineering, not production-line repetition. Their Liverpool facility is modern and well-equipped, with a team that values skill and takes training seriously. People stay here - and with a growing order book, they're building on that.

The role

You'll be operating robotic welding machines to produce welded assemblies, loading components into jigs and fixtures, and inspecting finished parts for quality. Full training is provided - so if you've worked in a factory or engineering environment and you're comfortable handling metal parts and using tools, this is a genuine opportunity to develop a new skill set on modern equipment.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate robotic welding machines to produce welded assemblies to specification

  • Load jigs, fixtures, and components into the robot welder

  • Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality

  • Follow safety procedures and report any machine faults or issues

  • Support general fabrication and production tasks where required

What you'll bring

  • Essential: A background in machine operation, fabrication, production, or a similar production or engineering role

  • Experience with jig-based production or fixture loading

  • Confident handling tools, equipment, and metal components

  • Keen eye for detail - you take quality seriously

Useful, not essential

  • Previous exposure to a robotic welding or fabrication environment

Benefits and culture

  • Hourly rate of £14.33

  • Overtime paid at 1.5x rate

  • Company pension scheme

  • Time off: 24 days holiday + bank holidays, rising to 27 days with service

  • On-site parking

  • Modern, well-equipped facility

  • Full training provided - no prior welding experience needed
