Roaming Pharmacy Medical Counter Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Roaming Medical Counter Pharmacy Assistant to support operations across multiple pharmacy locations. This is a dynamic role ideal for someone adaptable, organised, and passionate about delivering excellent patient care.

You will work across different branches as required, assisting with over-the-counter (OTC) sales, customer queries, and general pharmacy support duties.

Key Responsibilities
Assist customers with over-the-counter medication requests and provide appropriate advice within competency limits
Support pharmacists in the day-to-day running of the pharmacy
Handle sales transactions and operate the till accurately
Restock shelves and ensure products are well-presented and in date
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy environment
Travel between pharmacy locations as required
Provide excellent customer service and maintain patient confidentiality
Assist with stock control and inventory management

Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail healthcare environment preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexibly across multiple locations
Good understanding of OTC medicines (training will be provided)
Basic IT and numeracy skills
A proactive and team-oriented attitude
Willingness to travel regularly
Desirable Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent)
Medicines Counter Assistant (MCA) certification
Full UK driving licence (if travel between branches is required)
