Roald Dahl Neonatal CMC Nurse Specialist

The ODN Neonatal with Medical Complexity Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will work as part of the multidisciplinary team within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and the Operational Delivery Network (ODN), providing specialist nursing care to neonates and infants with complex medical needs. This role will involve working collaboratively across regional neonatal services to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care is provided to vulnerable neonates, frombirthto discharge., The role provides leadership across the ODN, acting as a source of expertise, advice and knowledge for neonates,families,and healthcare professionals. Workingwith the ODN Manager and Lead Clinicians as part of a multi-disciplinary leadership team, the postholder willlead strategic and operational development of coherent and effective ODN arrangements, and delivery of a programme of work that addresses national and local priorities to improve services. Thepostholder willlead education and training, clinicaleffectiveness,clinicalaudit,service-userengagement,and risk managementrelated to the care of medically complex neonates and their families.
