If you're driven by safety, quality and results - and thrive in a fast-moving, hands-on environment - we want to hear from you.What you'll be responsible forLeading surfacing schemes from handover to sign-off, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality deliveryManaging paving gangs, plant, materials and subcontractors to meet programme and specificationOwning site safety: risk assessments, investigations, "step-ins" and full compliance with Tarmac Health and Safety standardsPreparing and maintaining site packs, cost/value data, BPO and
HAV recordsCoordinating resources including labour planning, holidays and sickness coverActing as the key link between site teams, clients, material planning and waste managementAttending contract handovers, CVR meetings and supporting optimisation initiativesBuilding strong, trusted relationships with clients and stakeholdersWhat we're looking forProven experience supervising road surfacing / highways worksStrong leadership style with the confidence to manage live sites and multiple stakeholdersA proactive, solution-focused approach with sharp commercial awarenessCSCS and SMSTS qualifications (essential)NEBOSH and HNC in Construction / Civil Engineering (desirable)Flexible, organised and able to adapt quickly to changing site demandsA role-model for teamwork, communication and continuous improvementWhy join Tarmac?A stable pipeline of regional contracts across Leicestershire and NottinghamshireReal autonomy and responsibility on major surfacing schemesA safety-first culture backed by
