Road Safety Engineer (Full Time)

As an Engineer, you'll take a leading role in planning, designing, coordinating and delivering road safety engineering schemes and programmes. You'll use your professional judgement to assess risks, interpret standards, develop solutions and make sure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with statutory requirements and best practice. Your day could involve developing designs, reviewing technical information, managing contractors, overseeing site activity, monitoring project performance or preparing reports and recommendations. You'll also provide professional advice to colleagues, stakeholders, elected Members and the public, helping resolve issues and support good decision-making.
