Road Freight Account Manager

As a Road Freight Account Manager, your roles and responsibilities will include….

Owning a portfolio of client accounts and monitoring client freight needs
Upselling services and solutions to drive volume
Conducting regular reviews to identify opportunities, address issues and ensure satisfaction
Identifying and qualifying new business through cold-calling, email, networking & CRM tools
Creating tailored proposals and quotes for prospective clients
Developing strategic account plans, set sales targets, and forecast performance
Tracking progress against KPIs; reporting on pipeline, revenue, and client health

Ideally at least 2 years' experience in road freight/logistics
At least 2 years' experience in sales and/or account management
Ability to identify and develop new opportunities
Strong track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong negotiation and problem-solving ability
Self-motivated & proactive with the drive to work independently

In return, the successful Road Freight Account Manager, will receive a salary up to £35,000 with an OTE of £55,000 (plus uncapped commission), plus the following benefits…
