Full Job Description
gtd healthcare are the providers of all minor illness and minor injury care at Preston Urgent Care Centre and minor illness at Chorley Urgent Care Centre. The services provide the first point of access for all self-referred unscheduled attendances for the Emergency department (ED)., To facilitate the provision of accurate healthcare information, health improvement advice or, where applicable, referral to the appropriate level and location of care, to meet the holistic and therapeutic requirements of the patient/carer. - Assess and prioritise patients' clinical needs utilising Manchester Triage System.
- Supplies and administers PGD medications in a safe effective manner in accordance with the appropriate policy and guidance.
- Prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately to assist the patient in complex, urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergency care.
- Works within their respective Code of Professional Conduct.
- Be committed to working flexibly within a dynamic environment, responding positively to the changing needs of the service.
- Promote and facilitate evidence-based practice.
- Maintain professional knowledge and practice compliance with their respective professional body.
- Demonstrate continual professional development (CPD) through organised or self-directed study/learning and participation in clinical supervision, audit and appraisal.
