Summary
Revenues & Benefits Apprentice
Starting salary £24,521 per annum (£12.71 per hour).
37 hours per week - 2 year fixed-term contract
Based at King's Court Council Offices, King's Lynn
Start your career in local government with an apprenticeship that combines a recognised qualification, practical experience and the support to help you succeed. At the Borough Council, you will join a welcoming workplace where you can build your confidence, develop valuable skills and make a positive difference for local residents.
Over the two-year programme, you will earn while you learn and work towards the Level 4 Institute of Revenues, Rating and Valuation qualification. Supported by experienced colleagues and senior managers, you will gain hands-on experience across our Revenues and Benefits service, including Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, council tax and non-domestic rates. Your duties will develop alongside your studies, helping you connect your learning with real work from the outset.
