Retail Team Member - Godalming

We're looking for a Retail Team Member to welcome visitors to the National Trust shop at Winkworth, to answer their questions and help them make the most of their day, This is an exciting time in Winkworth Arboretum story as we move closer to a new visitor centre and a retail shop opening in May 26. We are growing our team and the successful candidates will be involved from set-up to opening and beyond. As a member of the retail team, you'll be offering visitors help and advice with their shopping. You'll have high standards of presentation in the shop while providing excellent service to all customers. You'll also be able to talk to them about how everything they buy helps to fund the work of the National Trust. Other duties may include arranging, receiving and unpacking deliveries, creating shop displays and working with others in the team to keep the shop floor clean and organised.

Duration: Fixed Term ending end of May 2027 Hours: This is a zero-hour contract, meaning we can't guarantee a set number of hours each week. While we aim to provide a consistent work pattern, flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. We'll try to give as much notice as possible.
