Retail Team Member - Alresford

We're looking for a Retail Team Member to welcome visitors to the National Trust shop at Hinton Ampner, to answer their questions and help them make the most of their day., As a member of the retail team, you'll be offering visitors help and advice with their shopping. You'll have high standards of presentation in the shop while providing excellent service to all customers. You'll also be able to talk to them about how everything they buy helps to fund the work of the National Trust. Other duties may include arranging, receiving and unpacking deliveries, creating shop displays and working with others in the team to keep the shop floor clean and organised. Hours/working pattern: This is a zero-hour contract, meaning we can't guarantee a set number of hours each week. While we aim to provide a consistent work pattern, flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. We'll try to give as much notice as possible. The shop is open from 11.00-17.00 (16.00 in winter) and closes for most of January. A rota is used whereby one week is two days and the other is three, including a weekend (BH working is also expected, as is Christmas & Easter). This may average about 10 hours per week.
