Retail Store Detective

• Conduct undercover surveillance to identify and prevent theft, fraud, and other criminal activities within the store.
• Maintain a highly visible presence to deter potential offenders.
• Monitor CCTV systems to identify suspicious behaviour and incidents.
• Detain and interview individuals suspected of theft or wrongdoing, adhering to company policies and legal requirements.
• Compile detailed reports and evidence, and confidently present findings to clients.
• Collaborate with store management and law enforcement as necessary.
• Assist with inventory audits and security assessments.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
  
  At least 18 years old - a legal requirement to work in a front-line licensable activity
SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence (Essential) Access to own Vehicle (desirable) Previous retail security experience is an advantage, particularly in customer-facing environments Experience within a security environment is desirable Strong communication and computer literacy 5 years checkable work and address history Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance Friendly, approachable, and always professional Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job Ideally some experience within a Security environment or a customer facing role Able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner Some experience working within a Security environment and working as part of a team Effective people skills, able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. This could include the following: passport / driving licence / utility bill dated in the last 3 months / HMRC letter / original bank statement / original payslip / birth certificate / a valid share code.
