Full Job Description
- Have a visible presence by carrying out routine foot patrols, including locking and unlocking the shopping centre
- Take accurate notes to complete reports, logbook entries and all relevant paperwork to a high standard - including reporting in detail any incidents occurring whilst on duty.
- Liaison with local authorities, including police, emergency healthcare services or even fire extinguishers in case of an emergency.
- To carry out weekly Fire alarm testing and provide First Aid if necessary
- Operating a telephone switchboard and the use of client software and security CCTV systems in the control room Key requirements will include:
- Valid SIA Badge - SG or DS Licence with 1st Aid Essential
- CCTV Licence Essential
- You will need to evidence your honesty and reliability and always maintain a sense of pride in your professionalism in delivering excellent customer service.
- Be able to access, control and manage a large crowd of people efficiently and quickly and have experience with radio communication.

You will be joining our Workplace Security Teams based at Stanley Square Shopping Centre in Sale, 15 minutes outside Manchester CityCentre. Tuesday 7.30pm - 7.30am (night) Thursday 12noon - 5pm Flexibility is key as overtime is available on other nights and day shifts to cover sickness, holidays and additional events.
