Resuscitation Practice Development Nurse / Paramedic

The Resuscitation Practice Development Nurse/Paramedic will support the Resuscitation Practice Development Manager in delivering high-quality, evidence-based resuscitation training across the Trust, spanning inpatient, community and specialist settings. The post holder will act as an in-house ILS Tutor, deliver ward-based in-situ training and assessments, and support early recognition of the deteriorating patient. They will provide ad-hoc and specialist training across Trust teams, one-to-one support following ILS/BLS training, and coordinate training activity to maximise compliance. The role also includes oversight of resuscitation equipment and administrative records, contributing to audit and service improvement, and deputising for the team manager as required. The post holder will maintain their professional registration and keep clinical knowledge up to date.,

• Deliver ILS training as an in-house Tutor and provide ward-based in-situ training and assessments
• Support early recognition of the deteriorating patient
• Provide ad-hoc and specialist resuscitation training across Trust teams
• Offer one-to-one support following ILS/BLS training
• Coordinate training activity to maximise compliance
• Oversee resuscitation equipment and maintain administrative records
• Contribute to audit and service improvement activities
• Deputise for the team manager as required
• Maintain professional registration and up-to-date clinical knowledge
