Full Job Description
The Resuscitation Training Officer will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery and evaluation of a comprehensive training portfolio--including BLS, ILS, and simulation--ensuring all instruction aligns with Resuscitation Council (UK) standards and Trust policy. Beyond education, the post holder will drive service quality by conducting critical audits on equipment, EWS, and ReSPECT, while contributing expert clinical research and data to incident investigations and policy updates. By supporting the Resuscitation Manager in training needs analysis and report generation, this role ensures the Trust maintains a robust, compliant, and evidence-based response to physical health emergencies., The Resuscitation Officer is responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of training--including CPR, BLS, ILS, First Aid, and simulation--to ensure staff meet the clinical standards set by the Resuscitation Council (UK), CQC, and other regulatory bodies. Beyond education, the role provides expert professional support to foster a patient-focused emergency response and contributes to the continuous review of vital safety frameworks, such as NEWS2 and PEWS, to enhance clinical governance across the Trust.
