Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a well-established children's residential service located in Fareham, supporting children and young people with learning difficulties and challenging behaviours. This role is suitable for candidates commuting from Fareham, Portchester, Gosport, Lee-on-the-Solent, Stubbington, Titchfield, Waterlooville, Portsmouth, Havant and the surrounding areas. As an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting children and young people to live in a safe, stable and nurturing environment while providing high-quality, person-centred care and support. You will take a senior role within the home, leading shifts, supporting and mentoring junior members of staff, and ensuring children's individual needs are consistently met. You will also support the implementation of care plans, safeguarding procedures and the day-to-day running of the home. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance, while working collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals to provide positive outcomes for the children.

Please note: We do not hold licences to support overseas candidates. You must have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Senior Residential Support Worker within a children's residential setting. This role is not eligible for s p o n s o r s h i p .,

  • Experience working in a senior or shift-leading capacity within a children's residential setting
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and children's residential care

    Salary of £33,600 per annum
  • Recently increased hourly rate of £17.26 per hour
