As a Personal Care Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning while ensuring their personal care needs are met with dignity and respect. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils with eating and drinking during mealtimes.
• Assisting with toileting and personal hygiene.
• Promoting independence wherever possible.
• Providing emotional support and building positive relationships.
• Working closely with teachers and therapists to ensure pupils receive the highest standard of care.
  
  Are you a caring, patient and dedicated individual looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs?, Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential).
• Is confident providing personal care or willing to undertake training.
• Is compassionate, reliable and patient.
• Can work effectively as part of a supportive school team.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS (child and adult workforce), satisfactory references, and full compliance with KCSIE (2025) guidance and safer recruitment standards. Overseas police checks may be required where applicable.
