Full Job Description
Our Residential Lettings team is part of Estates Services and is responsible for managing a wide range of rental properties let to University staff, academics, and the general public. From charming cottages to elegant townhouses, they maintain high standards in service and property care - offering tenants and colleagues alike a professional and reliable experience., As the Residential Lettings Administration Assistant, you'll be the first point of contact for all enquiries to our Residential Lettings Office. You will support the lettings team in delivering a high-quality service to tenants, contractors, and colleagues, ensuring smooth and accurate administration at every stage of the lettings process. From booking viewings and preparing tenancy agreements to maintaining key records and liaising with maintenance teams, your work will be varied, interesting, and vital to the smooth running of our housing portfolio. You'll also support communications, events, and wider projects that enhance the service and tenant experience. This is a varied and rewarding part-time position ideal for someone looking to balance work with other commitments.
You'll be a great fit if you have:
- Experience in administration, reception (or customer-facing roles)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-by phone, email and in person
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good computer literacy (including Word and Excel)
- The ability to manage competing tasks with confidence and care Sponsorship and Right to Work This role does not meet the criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa under the UK Visa & Immigration points-based system. We are therefore unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
