Full Job Description
You will report to the Environmental Health Service Manager and be responsible for leading the delivery of the Council's responsibilities for the regulation of housing, protection of tenant's rights, and the licensing of mobile home sites.
Your role will involve:
Leading and developing a team of environmental health, enforcement and regulatory officers, in line with the Council's performance management framework.
Ensuring the Council meets its statutory responsibilities under the Housing Act 2004, the Renters Rights Act 2025 and other relevant legislation.
Contributing to the continuous development of the environmental health and wider public protection service, identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Environmental Health Team Leader to join our Residential Environmental Health Team. The role would suit an already experienced team leader, or an environmental professional who wishes to progress their career and step up into a leadership role.

This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working, and a salary of £55,296 - £60,286 per annum., Flexible working including a hybrid working pattern for a better work-life balance.
