Residential Conveyancer

The Residential Conveyancer will play a key role within the Residential Property department, managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and department heads while maintaining high standards of client care and compliance throughout the transaction process. The day-to-day job duties within this role include:

• Overseeing a varied caseload of residential property matters from initial instruction through to completion
• Preparing and processing legal documents associated with residential transactions
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients and third parties throughout the conveyancing process
• Reviewing legal paperwork and identifying any issues requiring further investigation
• Coordinating property searches and communicating outcomes to clients where appropriate
• Managing financial documentation connected to transactions, including mortgage and redemption information
• Supporting the progression of matters through exchange and completion stages
• Carrying out client due diligence and anti-money laundering checks in line with compliance requirements
• Assisting with post-completion matters and Land Registry submissions
• Preparing and submitting SDLT documentation where required
• Maintaining accurate file management and ensuring records are updated consistently
  
  The successful Residential Conveyancer will have previous experience handling a residential property caseload independently and will enjoy working within a collaborative and client-focused team environment.
