care.Work shifts to ensure the home runs safely, smoothly and in line with safeguarding expectationsLead and supervise Residential Support Workers, promoting best practice and acting as a positive role modelMaintain up-to-date knowledge of policies, procedures, legislation and the home's Statement of Purpose, and guide staff in applying theseBuild strong, professional relationships with multi-agency partners, families and the wider communitySupport care planning, young people's reviews, and progress against individual plansEncourage young people to participate in decision-making within the home and the communityPromote equality, anti-discriminatory practice, and uphold all Health & Safety and data protection requirementsAttend required training and support QCF learners where neededEssential SkillsA good standard of education and working towards (or holding) a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalentStrong understanding of childcare legislation, Children's
