We're expanding our Residential Services and building new, modern homes-making this a truly exciting time to join South Tyneside Council. As a Residential Childcare Officer, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to children and young people. You'll work directly with children, young people, and their families, helping to create safe, nurturing environments where they can thrive. As part of a dedicated care team, you'll collaborate with other professionals to champion the needs of those in your care, using a variety of approaches to support their development, build life skills, and prepare them for adulthood.   • Experience working with children and young people, ideally in residential or multi-agency settings (but not essential)
  • You will possess a Level 3 qualification (or willingness to work towards)

  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Willingness to undertake training and continuous professional development
