Residential Child Care Worker

We are looking to recruit a residential childcare worker. We provide overnight short breaks for children and families with complex needs. This post is 32 hours a week and involves shift working between the hours of 7am and 10pm.

The preferred candidate will have experience in supporting children with total care needs, a background of supporting children with disabilities would be an advantage as would a L3 Diploma working with children and young people in residential services., We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children/vulnerable adults. This post is subject to satisfactory reference history of at least two years, Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, medical clearance, evidence of any essential qualifications and proof of Right to Work in the UK in accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996.

The successful applicant will be required to work outside of a 7am to 8pm Monday to Friday work pattern and will receive an additional payment on top of the quoted salary as a result.
