Full Job Description
We're on the lookout for a Reservations Agent to be the go-to person for guests booking their stay at Hyde London City. You'll play a key role as the initial contact for guests, giving top-notch service, making guests feel at home, and finding ways to boost sales. What you'll do… Answer guest enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay on top of what's happening in our hotels and the local scene.
- Quote rates, process, and confirm reservations by email or phone, following the department's guidelines. Securing bookings, and charge no-show or late cancellation fees when needed.
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to keep the team informed and operations running smoothly.
- Work closely with the Revenue Manager to ensure accurate data entry, follow the pricing strategy in place, and stay up to date on the latest revenue strategies, promos, and offers.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to identify potential sales leads and follow the sales strategy in place.
- Maximise our sales by having a sales mindset and jumping on any chances to upsell.
- Highlight extra services or special packages to boost sales.
- Work closely with the Front of House team for day-to-day operations.
Experience in a similar role within a 4 / 5 star hotel. - Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills and excellent command of the English language.
- Previous experience working with OPERA (Opera Cloud experience and working with TARS would be a plus).
- Experience working for Accor hotels would be beneficial but not a must.
