Full Job Description
We are seeking a Research Project Manager to help co-ordinate the collection, management and sharing of health-related data for the Cancer Epidemiology Unit (CEU), Nuffield Department of Population Health.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Research Project Manager with relevant experience of administration or project management and excellent organisational skills.
The main responsibilities will include managing the development and enhancement of studies within CEU including the Million Women Study and several large collaborations and the AgeX trial. The role involves coordinating the collection, management and sharing of health-related data across these CEU studies, including managing ethical approvals, HRA applications, and data linkage and data sharing agreements with NHS providers and collaborators. In addition to supporting these major studies, the post holder will contribute to information governance processes, and liaise with NHS, University, and research partners.
You will have a degree in a relevant subject, or equivalent experience, with experience in administration or project management in a health research or academic setting. Experience with HRA applications, NHS R&D processes, data linkage, and research databases is essential, along with strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with epidemiological research, NHS data, and UK data protection regulations (GDPR) would be desirable.
