Please note the use of AI is monitored and if applicants have used it then they are required to declare this., As a Senior Research Nurse/Midwife/AHP based at the South West Central Regional Research Delivery Network's hub in Bournemouth, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality health and care research across a variety of healthcare settings. This dynamic role with the Agile Research Delivery Team offers the opportunity to support research studies in primary care, community services, NHS Trusts and other settings to ensure that patients and the public can access research opportunities wherever they receive their care. Working as part of an agile, multidisciplinary team, you will use your clinical expertise, research knowledge, and flexible approach to help deliver safe, participant-focused studies.
The South West Central Agile Research Delivery Team works across three hubs in Bristol, Bournemouth and Gloucestershire, and we are currently recruiting to our Bournemouth hub.
As an organisation we recognise the value of work-life balance. Our team currently works in a hybrid way, with at least 40% of time face-to-face; this may vary depending on team and organisational need. As this role will be responsible for the delivery of research across a wide geographical area, there is a requirement to travel to a variety of locations across the region.

+ Support the coordination of the Agile Research Delivery Team to ensure the day-to-day
management of the workforce to ensure that appropriate staffing and skill mix is maintained at all
times across all stages of all the work the Agile Research Delivery Team supports.
+ Accurately perform and record a range of participant assessments and physiological measurements
required, according to personal competencies and the study protocol. This may include, but not be
limited to, venepuncture, blood pressure, urinalysis, weight and height.
+ Manage multiple concurrent projects and research sites, requiring flexibility and adjustment
according to demand.
+ Implements policies for own work area and proposes changes to working practice or procedures for own work area.
+ Contribute to the overarching goals of the Research Delivery Network by ensuring smooth
operation of services, adhering to relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and effective service delivery.
+ Engage with, recruit and support participants from a broad spectrum of diverse communities,
facilitating equity of access to research, including through the use of Be Part of Research and Join Dementia Research.
+ Demonstrate understanding of the regional participant, carer and public impact on the research landscape., the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. + Registered Nurse, Midwife or AHP on relevant part of the professional register (NMC, HCPC)
+ Leadership management experience in a health care setting
+ Experience of the care of patients/participants enrolled in research studies
+ Excellent planning and organisational skills
+ Ability to work calmly, effectively and independently under pressure
