Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a full time (37.5 hours per week) band 6 Research Nurse is now available in Clinical Pharmacology working at Addenbrookes Hospital based on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. You should be an excellent team member with evidence of good communication and organisational skills. If you think you are the right candidate to work in our department alongside the existing team of caring, flexible, dedicated nurses who are passionate about research please apply. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of high quality, patient focused clinical research studies, investigating cardiovascular disease. They will predominantly be helping to recruit to and deliver clinical trials of anti-hypertensive therapies, including weight loss therapies, in patients with essential hypertension.,

  • Recruiting and delivering clinical trials of anti-hypertensive therapies
  • The post holder will be expected to undertake the day-to-day responsibility for identifying and recruiting eligible clinical research participants, undertake research assessments, provide information and support to participants and assist with study specific administrative tasks, all following study protocols in accordance with ICH Good Clinical Practice, EU Clinical Trials legislation and the NHS research governance framework.
