Full Job Description

This post will investigate how cognitive performance can be predicted using multimodal physiological measures and modified through non-invasive brain stimulation. Working with Professors Roi Cohen Kadosh and Mark Cropley and Dr Roman Bauer, the Research Fellow will support the design and delivery of human studies, participant recruitment and data collection, ethics applications, analysis of behavioural and physiological data, and preparation of publications and project outputs. They will also assist with the day-to-day supervision and training of junior research staff and students involved in the project.

# A PhD, or a PhD nearing completion at the time of appointment, or equivalent research experience, in cognitive neuroscience, experimental psychology, computational neuroscience, or a closely related discipline.
# Strong experience in the acquisition, preprocessing and analysis of EEG data, including spectral and aperiodic EEG measures.
# Strong experience integrating EEG with non-invasive electrical brain stimulation, particularly tRNS.
# Strong experience investigating individual differences in learning and cognition
# Experience applying machine-learning, predictive-modelling or multivariate methods to behavioural and/or EEG data.
# Proficiency in R, MATLAB and Python.
