An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Research and Engagement team within the Faculty of Science and Technology at Lancaster University. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Research & Engagement Manager to lead a supportive team of two dedicated Officers, who will be instrumental in promoting and communicating our world-leading research through a variety of media., o Lead and motivate a team of two Research and Engagement Officers, overseeing their work and supporting their professional development.
o Coordinate and implement communications strategies to promote research activities and outcomes effectively.
o Organise and facilitate events and activities designed to engage external stakeholders with our research.
o Foster relationships with academic staff, partners, and community groups to elevate the impact of our research.
o Utilise skills in research translation, digital and social media, data management, and event organisation.
The Research & Engagement Manager will be pivotal in engaging with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and collaboration, maximising the positive impact of our research and engagement efforts. This role requires a candidate with strong leadership skills and a proven ability to build successful working relationships with a diverse range of individuals., o Experience in leading, managing, and motivating a team to achieve organisational objectives.
o Strong communication and collaborative skills.
o A track record of engaging with diverse stakeholders and building effective relationships.
