Research & Development Industrial Placement (Associate Researcher - BSc) 2027

During your 12-month paid placement, you will get a first-hand experience of what a career in R&D with P&G involves, and if it is right for you. Each intern will work on their own projects, but as part of an overall project team. You will also have an opportunity to put your technical skills to work on intellectually challenging problems and improve your team working and leadership skills through practical experience and interactive training courses. This year will give you the chance to experience the working environment in a leading international company and gain guidance on your professional development. We enrol students in their penultimate or final year of their BSc for scientific and engineering disciplines into the various roles in R&D, e.g. Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Forensic Science, Microbiology, Lab Management and Physical Sciences. We also look for skills such as creativity, innovation, initiative, communication, leadership, and the ability to work with others. What You Will Gain:

• Responsibilities and Real Work from Day 1: You will be given specific projects and responsibilities working on real and live business challenges, just like a true P&Ger.
• Continuous training & coaching: You will work with passionate people and receive both formal training as well as day-to-day mentoring from your manager., For our placement roles, you will need to provide your own right to work in the UK for the full duration of your placement without requiring sponsorship from P&G. Note, this will require your right to work permission to be valid between 5th July 2027 until 30th June 2028 for a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.

What We Look For:
• University students pursuing a BSc in scientific or engineering degrees graduating in 2029 with a placement year as part of their degree. We also welcome applications from students graduating in 2027 or 2028 or those who have already graduated who are available to complete a 12-month placement.
• Evidence of passion and achievements in academic and/or non-academic activities. Tell us what you're proud of - be it playing a musical instrument or holding down a job alongside your studies. We want to get to know you during your application!
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a strong passion for research and innovation.
