Full Job Description

As a Research Delivery Nurse, you will support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of late-phase clinical trials across primary care settings. You will be responsible for coordinating and conducting study visits, supporting participant recruitment, obtaining informed consent, collecting and processing samples, administering investigational products where appropriate, maintaining study documentation and ensuring studies are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety and regulatory compliance. This role offers significant opportunities for professional development and exposure to both commercial and academic research.

  • Identify and recruit eligible participants into research studies.
  • Conduct informed consent discussions in accordance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Undertake clinical assessments and research study visits.
  • Perform venepuncture and other study-related clinical procedures.
  • Process, package and ship biological samples.
  • Administer investigational medicinal products where delegated and appropriately trained.
  • Accurately record research data within electronic and paper-based systems.
  • Maintain investigator site files and essential study documentation.
  • Assist with monitoring visits, audits and inspections.
  • Work collaboratively with investigators, sponsors, CRDC partners and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support initiatives to increase participation from underserved and underrepresented communities.
