Research Associate in Collinear Resonance Ionization Spectroscopy for Nuclear Structure Studies
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated scientist to lead the upgrade programme at the Collinear Resonance Ionization Spectroscopy (CRIS) experiment at the ISOLDE facility, CERN. The CRIS experiment uses high-resolution laser spectroscopy to study the fundamental properties of exotic nuclei. Over the next few years, we plan to upgrade the CRIS beam line to enhance experimental sensitivity for when the ISOLDE facility restarts in 2028.
