step into industry for a recent science graduate looking to gain practical laboratory experience and build a career within life sciences.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Perform routine laboratory tasks and assist scientists with sample preparation, basic analytical assays, and experimental workflows following established procedures.Prepare buffers and reagents, contribute to lab housekeeping, and ensure accurate documentation in line with SOPs and ISO9001:2015 standards.Maintain laboratory records, support inventory and housekeeping activities, and help ensure a safe, organized, and efficient laboratory environment.Communicate effectively with team members, contribute to process improvements, and support cross-functional coordination for downstream activities.The essential requirements of the job include

  • Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related Life Sciences discipline. Awareness and understanding of:Technical principles,
  • literature, and methodologies in protein conjugation chemistry.Protein purification techniques (SEC, IEX). Quality control methods such as ELISA, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot (WB), and imaging applications.Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow established protocols and procedures accurately.Demonstrates a flexible mindset and ability to adapt to shifting priorities and customer demands.It would be a plus if you also possess previous hands-on experience with general laboratory practices, including familiarity with standard operating procedures, routine maintenance of lab equipment, and adherence to safety protocols.Abcam, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
