Research Assistant - REDPLOYMENT ONLY

The School of Health & Medical Sciences combines the previous St George's School of Health & Medical Sciences and City's School of Health & Psychological Sciences. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to support the delivery of research projects, which are jointly led by researchers from City, St George's, and Imperial College London. This position is funded through a collaborative initiative supported by GSK and the Fleming Initiative.

The postholder will support mixed method research across a programme of systems and policy evidence generation to address antimicrobial resistance in national and global settings.

Working closely with the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigators the postholder will provide day-day project management support for operational and administrative tasks to ensure the effective delivery of the research programme. Research support will include data collection and analysis and report writing and contribution to peer-reviewed publications. Contribution to future funding proposals will also be expected.

The successful candidate will have clinical experience as well as qualitative research experience and an evidenced (by prior collaboration or publication)interest in antimicrobial resistance (AMR) policy research. A Master's in Health Management or related field and knowledge of health systems change through working in the English National Health Service in a management/operational role is essential. Knowledge of structured policy analysis frameworks and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary research team is essential. Experience of project management is desirable.
