Full Job Description

The Applied Psychology and Innovation Group (AP-RIG), located in the Faculty of Life Sciences and Education at the University of South Wales, is investing heavily in research activity across three focused themes; i) addictions and integrated brain and behaviour (AIBB), ii) psychological interventions, and iii) physical and mental wellbeing., We are seeking a Research Assistant to support our AP-RIG members in a range of research activity. This includes support for project planning, data collection, data analysis, drafting papers and grant application support.

To be considered for this position, you must have a good BPS accredited first degree in Psychology, and a postgraduate qualification (MSc, MPhil, MRes) in psychology or a related area.

If you are a successful candidate and this position will be your first professional services role at the University (or you are currently employed by PSS Ltd), you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges.
