What you'll be doing Global security monitoring and research
- Monitor a wide range of sources for breaking global security incidents and operational disruptions.
- Research and analyse developments that may impact Healix clients worldwide.
- Produce timely, accurate and actionable alerts in line with internal reporting thresholds.
- Track upcoming events that may require proactive intelligence coverage.
- Review, update and occasionally author country content for Healix's online risk platforms. Operational support and escalation
- Work closely with Intelligence Analysts and Security Coordinators to support live client cases.
- Build an understanding of client footprints and operations to proactively engage during relevant incidents.
- Identify significant or unusual security events that require escalation and inform the wider operations team.
- Provide ongoing written updates during crises or extended security situations.
- Support the delivery of the Critical Watch travel tracking service when required. Platform development and collaboration
- Contribute to projects aimed at improving the quality, consistency and usability of Healix's risk intelligence platform.
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across the business to continuously improve outputs.
You'll be well suited to this role if you have: - A strong interest, knowledge or academic background in international relations, politics, security risk or global affairs.
- Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to assess information quickly and accurately.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly summarise complex topics in English.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Confidence using Microsoft tools and digital platforms.
- A resilient, proactive and calm approach when working in a fast-moving environment., An undergraduate degree (or equivalent experience) in International Relations, Politics or a related field., Interest in International Relations, Politics, Security Studies, History or equivalent
- Fluent in English, with excellent writing ability. Desired criteria

- Relevant internships in government, international bodies, NGOs, corporate security
- Capability in additional languages

This role focuses on monitoring global security developments, analysing complex information, and producing clear, accurate alerts that help our clients make informed decisions. We have two Fixed-Term Part-Time positions, with each working approximately 18 hours per week, to start in late May / early-mid June with the view to them working for around 3 months.
