Full Job Description
We are looking for a Research Analyst to join our Research Team within Marketing and support the work of the Liaison Group, providing high-quality market analysis and insight that informs product development, commercial strategy, and business board decision-making. You will monitor activity impacting the healthcare market, including competitor activity, workforce trends, financial performance, healthcare structures, technology and legislative changes. You will also deliver project-based research to support decisions on product and market direction, including opportunities for external research projects PRINCIPAL TASKS AND ACTIVITIES
- Tracking competitor activity, industry trends and NHS organisations
- Liaising with teams across the business to identify research requirements, capture information and present updates
- Sourcing, consolidating and analysing market data to produce high level summaries and insights
- Summarising industry reports
- Publishing regular updates to the business on market news
- Creating and maintaining competitor profiles
- Producing information packs to support business planning cycles with summary information on internal and external data
- Undertaking ad-hoc and project-based research requests from across the businesses inc. product and commercial teams
- Presenting summarised project outcomes back to relevant teams
- Supporting research requirements related to partnerships, acquisitions and market growth
- Presenting summarised research outcomes back to relevant teams online or face-to-face
- Supporting new business growth inc. adjacent and international markets with research on market sizing, providers and trends
Outstanding business writing and reporting skills - Great attention to detail
- Able to distil information down to deliver concise summaries
- Proactive and self-motivated approach
- Highly effective time management and organisational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to present to various stakeholders
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong project management skills
- Understanding of generative AI tools
- Experience in prioritising workloads and working to deadlines
- Able to work collaboratively across multiple teams Desirable:
- Some related work experience desirable and desire for a career within this area, Degree or equivalent, preferably in business, marketing or related field
