37 hours per week, term time plus three weeks Permanent contract NJC grade 4, points 6-7 £25,989- £26,403 pro-rata Actual starting salary £23,501 Start date as soon as possible We are looking for a Reprographics Technician to join our highly successful school in North Cheshire. This is an interesting but demanding role and the successful candidate will be required to manage, maintain and deliver a complete reprographics service within the school. Duties are outlined within the recruitment pack and include:
- Maintaining reprographic equipment and liaising with external contractors
- Preparing and designing resource and presentation material for staff, including laminating, binding and guillotining
- Undertaking departmental duplicating and deliver to staff to ensure deadlines are met.
- Prioritising work flow to ensure that all photocopied documentation is consistently provided to the required standards and within specified timescales
- Maintaining stock for the reprographic service, ensuring value for money in the use of copier paper and other consumables, ensuring waste is kept to a minimum
- Ensure that documents are formatted in adherence to school branding requirements
- Making use of Papercut and cloud based school technologies to optimise print efficiency
- Use Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and other analysis software to review usage and statistics for billing and charging purposes. This is a busy role. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, be able to prioritise, whilst working to strict deadlines and delivering high service standards. Proven ability to manage a varied workload and use your own initiative to problem solve are essential. You will be thorough, methodical, with great attention to detail and have a friendly and proactive disposition. Applicants should have a basic knowledge of and experience of working with reprographics, ideally within a school environment. Full training will be provided.
