Full Job Description

We're looking for a Reporting Analyst to help us make better use of data through accurate, accessible dashboards, reports and analytics. This is a hands-on specialist role where you'll use Power BI to improve data visibility, strengthen performance reporting and support better decision-making across the organisation. Your work will help colleagues, senior leaders and trustees understand performance, spot trends and take action. What you'll be doing

  • Design, build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Use Power Query, DAX and data modelling to produce accurate, reliable insight.
  • Translate reporting needs into clear, practical reporting solutions.
  • Define, monitor and report on KPIs that support performance and improvement.
  • Test, validate and release recurring and ad hoc reports.
  • Support good data governance, GDPR compliance and responsible use of information.

Hands-on experience developing reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI.
  • Good working knowledge of Power Query, DAX and data modelling.
  • Strong understanding of data visualisation and dashboard design.
  • Experience gathering requirements and explaining insight to non-technical colleagues.
  • Experience defining and monitoring KPIs, and testing and validating reports.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and deadlines.
  • A values-led approach, with a commitment to listening, learning, collaboration and trying new things.

    Why join Affinity Trust?
  • At Affinity Trust, people are at the heart of everything we do. We support people with learning disabilities, autistic people and people with other support needs to live the lives they choose. In this role, your reporting expertise will help us improve insight, strengthen decision-making and build the data capability we need for the future.

  • Hybrid working from Thame or Leicester.
  • Annual leave, with entitlement increasing over time.
  • Stream benefits, vouchers, discounts and cashback.
  • Blue Light Card reimbursement.
  • Health cash plan, including 24-hour GP access.
  • Pension and Life Assurance schemes.
  • Interested? If you want a Reporting Analyst role where your Power BI and reporting skills can make a meaningful difference, we'd love to hear from you. We welcome different backgrounds and experiences, and we're happy to discuss adjustments during the recruitment process. If you are successful, your offer may be subject to a DBS check at the relevant level for the role. Affinity Trust will cover the cost of this check. #INDHOF
