The Repairs Planner will work closely with the Maintenance Team to ensure that all repairs and maintenance work is carried out in a timely and efficient manner. The successful candidate must have excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise workloads. You will liaise with residents and contractors to ensure that all works are completed to a high standard. Main Responsibilities: + Manage Operatives diaries. + Planning repairs works for pre and post inspection, reactive and emergency repairs. + Prioritising emergency works. + Booking appointments and allocating works to the available operatives and following works from start through to completion. + Ensure all relevant data is updated on a timely basis. + Liaising with tenants and Operatives to arrange repairs. + Effectively communicate any concerns about work quality and ensure operatives have the right material to complete their work. + Take part in meetings, supervision, training as requested by the manager., MMP Consultancy are looking for experienced operatives to work in social housing, primarily carrying out damp and mould remediation in line with Awaab's Law, with additional painting and decorating duties as required., + Conduct damp and mould inspections, treatment, and prevention in tenanted and void properties + Advise tenants on damp and mould prevention + Carry out minor repairs and damp-proofing + Complete painting and decorating tasks as needed + Maintain health & safety standards and accurate records via PDA, We are seeking an experienced Multi Trade Plumber to carry out reactive repairs within occupied social housing properties. This is a 6 month ongoing contract with a rate of £45ph umbrella over a 35 hour working week. The successful candidate will carry out comprehensive property inspections with a specific focus on damp, condensation and mould diagnosis, alongside the specification and supervision of effective remedial works. They will undertake full property surveys to identify the causes of damp and mould, assess risks to residents and buildings, and specify appropriate remedial solutions. You will use diagnostic equipment to support investigations, including seasonal monitoring where required, and ensure works are delivered safely, compliantly and to a high standard. This is a customer-facing role requiring a professional, empathetic approach when dealing with residents, often in challenging circumstances.
