An exciting opportunity has arisen on our Renal unit at WCH for a Band 5 registered Renal Dialysis Nurse to work within our renal dialysis team. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming, vibrant, and caring team dedicated to upholding the trust values whilst delivering excellent, holistic care and treatment for our patient's. We are looking for a dedicated individual with a genuine interest in providing care for patients with renal failure to join our established and experienced team. Your role will include supporting the delivery of renal dialysis to those patients and a commitment to delivering patient-centred care. The Renal Unit WCH strives for clinical excellence and strongly supports the progression of clinical skillsets to optimise patient outcomes. We are developing a strong link nurse network with the aim of creating local experts within the team who can cascade knowledge and information to improve standards. Renal experience is not necessary as full haemodialysis training will be given, with new staff being supported to gain the skills and competencies set out within a dedicated framework. The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust (RCHT) is the main provider of acute and specialist care services in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. It serves a population of around 470,000 people, a figure that can increase significantly with visitors during the busiest times of the year.
