Full Job Description
Duties will include:
- Staff management responsibilities: recruitment, induction, training, absence management and performance management
- Delivering high quality dialysis
- Monitoring nursing standards, ensuring compliance with the NMC Code
- Liaison with other dialysis unit managers in the Oxford Kidney Unit
- Conducting dialysis assurance and Health and Safety audits, identifying areas for improvement, This is a secondment post for maternity cover for one year., Duties will include:

We are looking for a person who is passionate about renal nursing and facilitating a good patient experience. You need to be enthusiastic and professional with a good work ethic. You should also be committed to delivering high standards of patient care and an ability to think quickly on your feet is vital. Any potential applicants would need to be an experienced band 5 nurse with minimum 2 years HD experience with renal course or working towards attaining one. You need to be passionate about demonstrating quality patient care, and have a clear vision of leading a team with minimal supervision., To be successful, you will need to be a qualified RN with a valid NMC registration. You will also need the appropriate skills in communication, organisation, leadership, and some HR experience. - Educated to degree level
- Renal Course or equivalent, Evidence of personal & professional development
- Experience of caring for renal patients
- Dialysis experience Desirable criteria
- Medical ward experience
- Home Haemodialysis training experience, You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
