Full Job Description
- We define the best technical solutions to business problems and contribute to an architectural vision that can scale into a leading research platform.
- We ship working code, primarily using React on the frontend and Kotlin microservices with Postgres on the backend, with some legacy Ruby on Rails services.
- We deploy frequently using CIrcleCI and Spinnaker for CI/CD, gather feedback quickly, and use it to inform our next iteration.
- We build our competency by learning quickly from experienced colleagues and using our learning and development budget to develop specific technical skills.
- We monitor our services carefully, catch errors before users notice them, diagnose root causes, and deploy fixes.
- We take ownership of the services managed by our team and ensure development aligns with our Engineering strategy.
- We work closely with product managers, designers, and the wider business to deliver code that solves real problems for internal and external customers.
