Remote Response Officer

As a Remote Response Officer, you will assess incidents, conduct initial investigations, provide safeguarding and crime prevention advice, and resolve appropriate incidents through telephone and video-based contact. Applying the THRIVE principles, you will make informed decisions, accurately record crime and incident details, and ensure individuals receive the most appropriate level of support and response. What You'll Be Doing

• Read through incidents, determine whether a crime has occurred and create crime reports where required.
• Conduct initial lines of enquiry and investigation through telephone enquiries.
• Provide safeguarding, victim care and crime prevention advice.
• Resolve suitable incidents remotely, reducing the need for officer deployment.
• Record and maintain accurate information on police systems in line with national standards.
• Gather and preserve evidential material through remote engagement.
