Full Job Description

Lead the unification of our global backend tech stack
Use data-led insights to identify opportunities to streamline our systems and improve the end-user experience
Work closely with stakeholders across the business to gather, understand and prioritise business requirements, assess business cases and develop KPIs
Engage stakeholders at all levels to ensure backlog prioritisation meets business needs and develop delivery roadmaps for workstreams
Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams
Lead multi-disciplined development teams to evolve the product, ensuring clear understanding of deliverables, costs, benefits and timelines
Own and prioritise the roadmap for our product
Facilitate decision-making with stakeholders and the agile development team by leading scrum ceremonies
Investigate solutions through competitor analysis, commercially available platforms and potential partners
Capture requirements in a clear and concise format
Understand, analyse and document current processes and workflows
Identify and propose opportunities for improvement
Gain approval and sign-off on new projects through demos and user acceptance testing
Manage the release process and communications when taking deliverables to market
Track the impact of new features and share results with the wider business

Product Owner

Experience in a D2C eCommerce environment, with knowledge of commerce systems
Experience documenting, understanding and migrating complex data structures
Experience owning 1st and 3rd party commerce platforms
Strong customer focus backed by commercial awareness, with the ability to assess business opportunities quickly
Ability to simplify complex problems, processes or projects into component parts and evaluate them systematically
Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively with stakeholders and stay open to ideas and suggestions
Ability to work with and manage technical resources including UX, Engineering and QA
Interest in and understanding of relevant commerce technologies
Ability to confidently present options and recommendations to stakeholders, resolve project issues and mitigate risks proactively
Ability to spot opportunities and pivot quickly, using data to support decisions and improve the customer journey and internal processes
Ability to work in a Scrum/agile software development environment
Demonstrable experience using planning and development tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Lucidchart
Excitement to work in a fast-paced, medium-sized business
