About the role

Duvo helps big companies actually finish the operational work that nobody on their team has time to close. The stuff that lives across an ERP, a few portals, somebody's inbox, three spreadsheets, and the occasional phone call. We map it, improve it, and run it for them.

Our customers include one of Europe's largest online grocery retailers, a global beauty e-commerce brand, a Middle East retail group, and a European pharmacy chain. The buyer is usually a Head of Operations, Supply Chain, Finance or IT at a large retailer or FMCG brand. New deals land at €100k-€250k ARR and grow from there.

This role sits between sales and engineering. You own the technical story in a deal, run workshops with the customer's ops and IT teams, and design the pilot that takes us from "this looks interesting" to a signed contract. You'll work directly with the founders and the AE in your region.

What you'll do

  • Run discovery and process mapping with customer teams.

  • Take what they do across half a dozen systems, including handoffs and exceptions, and turn it into a pilot scope with a clear Definition of Done.

  • Build and demo pilots inside the product. Every demo runs against the customer's process, with their data shape, approval rules, and write-back targets.

  • Own the technical evaluation: security review, integration sizing, addressing IT objections. Bring engineering in when needed.

  • Stay in the deal through pilot delivery. The customer's outcome has to be verifiable, not just demoed, and that responsibility falls to you.

Who you are

  • 3+ years in pre-sales, solutions engineering, forward-deployed, or implementation consulting.

  • Experience selling into Operations, Supply Chain, or Finance buyers at enterprise companies. Retail or FMCG experience is a bonus.

  • Proficient with SQL, some scripting, REST APIs, basic Python. You don't need to be a software engineer but can debug an integration live on a call.

  • Good reading of buying committees: identifying champions and blockers, when to escalate.

  • Ability to explain technical concepts in plain English. Push back on customer asks that hurt the pilot. Produce clear call summaries for the sales team.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and equity. Range shared on the first call.

  • Seed-stage company backed by Index Ventures ($15M seed).

  • Our founder and CEO is Tom Cupr, former founder of one of Europe's largest online grocery retailers.

  • Be the first pre-sales hire in your region with the opportunity to build the function.

  • Remote work across Europe and the US, with travel to customer sites and quarterly team offsites.

How we hire

  • Recruiter screen: 45 minutes with Omar (Head of Commercial) on the company and quick introductions.

  • 45-minute deep dive with Omar about your background.

  • Working session: deliver a demo to us.

  • Founder interview.

We aim to close the process in under three weeks. If you're interested in the role, get in touch.
