We are seeking compassionate and reliable Relief Support Workers to join our flexible bank team. In this rewarding role, you will make a tangible difference in the lives of the people we support, empowering them to live fulfilling lives. You will work across our diverse services, including complex care settings, assisting with everything from daily activities and personal care to leisure pursuits and appointments., As a Relief Support Worker, your day-to-day will be dynamic and person-centred. You'll support individuals with a range of activities, from attending work or day services to enjoying leisure activities in the community. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, administering medication (with full training), preparing meals, and maintaining a comfortable home environment. This role is perfect for someone seeking flexibility and variety, as you choose when you work across our different services. It's a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in social care, particularly in understanding and supporting autistic individuals. You will learn to support people through anxious times and help them engage with the world, seeing the positive impact of your work first hand. Hours: Work as part of our team of Flexible Support Workers (Bank/Relief) choosing when you work. Our daytime shifts are typically long days 07:00-22:00 or half days 07:30-1600 or 16:00-22:00 although this may vary from service to service. Waking night shifts are typically 20:00-08:00 or 21:30-07:30. What will you do as a Flexible Support Worker:

  • Work across our regional area 1,2 and 3 services to include complex care
  • Accompany the people we support to leisure and personal activities or appointments
  • Support people to attend work or daytime activities - often in our own Day Services
  • Help to maintain good domestic standards within the service (house) - encouraging the service user to participate in all domestic activities.
  • Help with personal care if required
  • Update paperwork/online care systems and other administration tasks as needed
  • Prepare meals for or with the people we support - ensuring they have a healthy and balanced diet.
  • Administer medication as and when required (full training provided)
  • Support people through times when they are feeling anxious and display risk behaviours
