Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team in Derbyshire. This role offers flexibility, a supportive team culture, and the chance to make a meaningful difference to people's lives. Who You Will Be Supporting You will be supporting three individuals:
- Two young gentlemen
- One lady in her 40s-50s All have profound and multiple learning disabilities. They enjoy a variety of hobbies and value time with family, who remain closely involved in their care. Their interests include:
- Meeting family and friends
- Football and cricket
- Day trips, walks, and visiting local pubs
- Shopping and meals out
- Hobbies and healthy living activities Your support will help them enjoy everyday moments, build confidence, and stay connected to the things they love. What You Will Be Doing Your role will be varied and focused on helping the individuals lead meaningful and fulfilling lives. Personal care Supporting with all aspects of personal care, maintaining dignity and comfort. Community support Providing shared and 1:1 support for outings, activities, and appointments. Mobility assistance Supporting individuals who use wheelchairs, hoists, and mobility equipment. Meal preparation Preparing meals and supporting with dietary needs and healthy routines. Medication Administering medication safely and in line with guidance. Household support Assisting with cooking, shopping, budgeting, housework, and attending health appointments. Emotional support Offering reassurance, understanding individual communication styles, and responding positively to behaviours.,
- British Sign Language (BSL) translated videos are available for all recruitment communications.

7:00am - 4:00pm - 4:00pm - 10:00pm
