Relief Security Officer

As a Relief Security Officer, you will cover shifts as needed, carrying out essential duties such as monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, preventing unauthorised access, and conducting internal and external patrols in line with site-specific instructions. You'll also assist with key management, traffic control, parking enforcement, and routine equipment checks to ensure the safety and smooth operation of each site. This isn't just another job. That includes:

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
• To provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises

• A valid SIA licence
• Full driving licence with access to own vehicle
• Willing to drive around Essex and Hertfordshire
• Punctual and reliable
• Flexible
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
