We are looking for an adaptable, empathetic, and enthusiastic individual who can thrive in a dynamic support environment. You should be self-motivated, calm under pressure, and deeply committed to supporting vulnerable adults with complex needs.,

  • Experience: Previous background working with vulnerable individuals, particularly those experiencing homelessness, mental health issues, or substance misuse.
  • Support Delivery: Knowledge of person-centred support planning, harm minimisation, and trauma-informed care.
  • Safety & Safeguarding: Understanding of risk assessments, managing challenging behaviour, and safeguarding vulnerable adults.
  • Communication & Boundaries: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain professional boundaries and build trusting relationships.
  • Travel Requirements: A valid driving licence is essential for travel between various locations across Southampton; however, we may consider non-drivers for available shifts in other projects within SSJ.
  • Tech Skills: Proficient IT skills for record-keeping and updating client data systems.
