Relief Passenger Assistant

The Passenger Transport Team is seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Passenger Assistant to join our busy and valued service. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in supporting children, young people, and vulnerable adults, helping them to travel safely and comfortably across the borough. The Role You will work closely alongside our drivers and operational staff, providing support to passengers throughout their journeys. Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Assisting passengers on and off vehicles
• Ensuring seatbelts and specialist equipment are used correctly
• Supporting passengers to travel safely and comfortably
• Communicating effectively with schools and families
• Keeping simple and accurate records
• Helping to maintain the smooth running of the transport service
